Clayton Max Creel, 73, of 166 Feed Mill Road (formerly of Duplin County), passed away Sunday, October23, 2016 at the Sandhills Regional Hospital in Hamlet, NC.

A funeral will be held at 1 P.M., Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home, with the Reverend Ray Smith officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.    Interment will follow in the Daly’s Chapel FWB Church Cemetery in Seven Springs.

Clayton, born in 1943 in Duplin County, was the son of the late Remus Creel, Sr. and Callie Padgett Creel.  He worked in the auto sales industry and was a member of Jones Chapel Baptist Church.
