Albert Henry Weeks, 95, of 1861 Harvey Lewis Road, passed away Friday, January 13, 2017 at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

A funeral service will be held at 11 A. M., Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home, with the Reverend Ray Smith officiating.  The family will receive friends from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M., one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and at other times at the home of his son at 1851 Harvey Lewis Road, Faison, NC  28341.   Interment will follow in Faison City Cemetery.

Albert, born in 1921 in Sampson County, was the son of the late Alonza Weeks and Nellie Bell Weeks.  He worked for Cates Pickles, Ernest Taylor Construction, Carroll’s Feed Mill, Smithfield Food and then part-time for Michael Graham at a nursery.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by wives; Janie Bell Weeks and Tessie Deaver Weeks; sisters, Bessie Jackson, Rachael Tucker and Evelyn Boykin; brother, Jessie Weeks; children, Paul Weeks, James Albert Weeks and Alice Faye Weeks; and grandson, Timmy Weeks.

He is survived by son, Mark Weeks and wife Becky of Faison; daughter-in-law, Katie of Clinton;  sister, Helen Rose; nephew, Carlyle and wife Fran of Clinton; grandson, Paul Weeks, Jr. and wife Ondrea of Clinton; nine grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; special friends, Bob McCloud, Michael Graham, Henry Carter and many more.
