I had your mother on my prayer list for quite a while. I certainly did not know that her health had deteriorated that badly. The last time I saw her she was having her car serviced at the Chevrolet place in Clinton---and that was a while ago. She was such a lovely lady---a self-effacing Christian woman. Bobby and I are so sorry for your great loss. I will continue to remember you girls in our prayers. Bobby and Carolyn Tew

Hi my name is Kayla and I am a local bible teacher. I am so sorry for the loss of your loved one. There is a very comforting scripture at Isaiah 25:8. It says that soon Jehovah will swallow up death forever and that he will wipe away all of the tears. So we can all look forward to a time when death will be no more. I hope that this scripture can bring some true comfort during these difficult times.

I have many wonderful memories of Nan and her girls coming to Vila's Beauty Shop! Her love and laughter is forever in my heart! Momma visited her recently when she was having a bad day. She told Momma that she was ok and she would be fine - a response that faithful Christians can rest in! Now RIP with Jesus, Ms. Nan

In memory of a strong, kind Christian woman. Her light is not extinguished but rather shines brightly from above, for she has now touched the face of God.
