Hazel Louise Ammons, 85, of 375 Tram Road, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

A funeral service will be held at 3 P.M, Friday, June 2, 2017, at Holly Grove Holiness Church, with Reverend Dr. Randy Simmons, Reverend Ricky Jacobs and Reverend Ken Simmons officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 P.M. -  3 P.M, just  before the service at Holly Grove Holiness Church and at other times at the home.  Interment will be at Old Holly Grove Church Cemetery.

Hazel born in 1932 in Sampson County, was the daughter of the late Benjamin Bledsole and Martha Goodman Bledsole.  She was a grader and packer for Sampson Produce and a member of Holly Grove Holiness Church.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Eddie David Ammons, three grandchildren and numerous brothers and sisters.

Survivors include; children, Elizabeth Dale McKinny (Dwayne) of Raeford, Deloris Elaine Simmons (Brent) of Clinton, Eddie Keith Ammons (Lori Ann) of Seven Springs, Shelia Ann Brewington of Clinton, Eugene Davis Ammons, and Pamela Sue Pridgen (Terry); fourteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; sister, Lillian House of Stedman; brother, Huey Bledsole of Godwin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
