Willadean (Phillips) Honrine

Mrs. Willadean Phillips Honrine, 80, of 219 Honrine Rd. passed away Sunday, October 16, at Duke Medical Center in Durham.

A funeral service will be held 3 P.M., Wednesday, October 19, 2016, at Carr Memorial Christian Church with the Rev. Dr. Penny Ziemmer officiating. Interment will follow at the Eliza Honrine Cemetery in Clinton.

Willadean, born in 1936 in Sampson County, was the daughter of the late Jefferson Leo Phillips and Pauline Jones Phillips.  She was a homemaker and a member of Carr Memorial Christian Church.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Honrine and a sister, Sybil Braswell.

Survivors include; son, Billy Ray Honrine Jr., and wife Becky of Autryville; daughter, Deborah H. Hering and husband Bill of Faison; granddaughter, Nina of Durham; sister, Elizabeth Phillips and brother, Jimmy Phillips; and devoted friend/companion, Bobby T. Stephenson.  Survivors also include; Frankie and Sharon Honrine, special brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws;  as well as many other sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at 2 P.M., Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Carr Memorial Christian Church and at other times at the home of her daughter, Deborah Hering, 2237 Lake Artesia Road, Faison.
