Clarence Ray "C.B.' Boyette

Mr. “C.B.” Clarence Ray Boyette, 58, of 355 Southwood Dr., passed away Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton. A funeral service will be held at 7 PM on Tuesday September 13, at Immanuel Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Ameen and Rev. Dewayne Batten officiating. Visitation with the family will follow the service. Interment will be held 11 AM Wednesday in the Clinton City Cemetery. Mr. Boyette, a native of Sampson Co., was the son of Minnie Ruby Denning Boyette and the late Oscar Elwood Boyette, Sr. and was the husband of Barbara Smith Boyette. He was a self-employed rollback operator with Adesa and a member of Immauel Baptist Church in Clinton. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Barbara Smith Boyette, son Christopher Ray Boyette of Clinton; daughter Sherry Boyette Arthur and husband Elliot of Pine Level; grandchildren Kaitlyn Elizabeth Boyette, Connor Ray Boyette; mother Minnie Ruby Denning Boyette of Newton Grove; brother Elwood Boyette of Clinton and many wonderful brother and sister in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. In lieu of flowers memorial can be made to Immanuel Baptist Church Awana Club. The family will receive friends other times at the home 355 Southwood Dr. Clinton.
