Rena Parker Bradshaw, 75, of 2570 The Avenue, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2016 at Southwood Nursing Center.

A funeral service will be held at 11 A.M, Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home with the Reverend Larry Myrick officiating.    The family will receive friends at 10 A.M., just prior to the service  and at other times at the home of her son, Scott King,  at 1605 Belvoir School Road, Clinton.  Interment will follow after the service at the Calvary Tabernacle Pentecostal Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Rena, born in 1941 in Sampson County, was the daughter of the late Simpson Parker and Mattie Jackson Parker Holland.  She was a self-employed house keeper.  She was a member of Corinth Baptist Church and most recently attended McGee United Methodist Church.  Rena was a loving Mother and Grandmother, “Nana”.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Ray Honeycutt; brothers, Delmus Parker, M. J. Parker, Glenn Parker; and sister, Sally Parker Goodrich.

She is survived by her children; Anthony “Andy” Honeycutt (Kim), Scott King (Billie Jo), Timmie King (Lesa), and Breezy Bradshaw; grandchildren, Rachel Ann Honeycutt (Cody Northcutt), Dalton King, Takoda Bradshaw, Payson King; sister, Margaret Gallagher; numerous nieces and nephews; and special cousin, Zelda Steinhour.

Memorials may be made to the Parkinson Association at 135 Parkinson Avenue, Stanton Island, NY  10305.
