Mary E. Bissette, 84, formerly of Faison, NC, passed away Sunday, December 31, 2017 at Autumn Care of Myrtle Grove.

A graveside service will be held at 11 A.M., Thursday, January 4, 2017  in the Faison Cemetery, Faison, NC.

Mary, born in 1933 in Duplin County, was the daughter of the late Ben H. Hobbs and Mary Rackley Hobbs.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack C. Bissette, Sr.  She worked and retired from the retail sales industry and was a member of Madison Avenue Baptist Church in Goldsboro, NC.

Survivors include: son, Jack C. Bissette, Jr. (Anne) of Wilmington; grandchildren, Jack C. Bissette, III (Jennifer) and Thomas K Bissette (Stanton); great-grandchildren, Cece, Jackson, Thomas and Hobbs; and brother, Ben Hobbs of Austin, Texas.
