William “W. A.”  Andrew Autry, Jr, 89, of 502 Raleigh Road, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

Funeral service will be held at 2 PM, Friday, December 22nd at First Baptist Church, with Rev. Dr. Ray Ammons officiating.  Interment will follow the funeral in the Clinton City Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church and at other times at the home.

W. A., born May 21, 1934 in Sampson County, was the son of the late Willam Andrew Autry and Mary Autry.  He was the owner and operator of Autry Paint Company and a member of First Baptist Church of Clinton.

Survivors include; daughter, Sheila A. Blackman of Clinton; son, Ricky W. Autry and wife Tenna Autry; three granddaughters, Kristie Blackman of Clinton, Erica A. Page and husband Marcus G. Page of Clinton and Megan A. Knowles and husband Kyle Knowles of Clinton; one grandson, Andrew D. Blackman of Cary; great-grandson Connor R. Blackman of Clinton and great-granddaughters Haven A. Warren, Ryleigh Page, Kinsley Page and Ada Grace Knowles.
