William "Bill" Arvie Butler, 70, passed away Sunday, September 22, 2024 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

Graveside Service will be Thursday, September 26, 2024 at 11 AM at the Clinton City Cemetery with Rev.  Jonathon Shattuck officiating. The family will receive friends at Crumpler Honeycutt Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 from 5 - 7 PM.

Bill, born August 20, 1954 in Sampson County, was the son of the late Joe Z. Butler and Mary Buckner Butler.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandmother Lula Buckner.  He was a longtime truck driver and recently worked for Deacon Jones in Clinton.  He was a member of Clinton Fire Department and Turkey Volunteer Fire Department.  He was a member of First Baptist Church of Clinton.

He is survived by his wife Kathy Dawn Brewer Butler and brother Joe Butler of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
