Violet Marie Bradshaw Britt, 90, of 1818 Lennox Drive, Garner, NC, passed away Friday, March 15, 2024 at her home.

Graveside service will be held at 1 PM, Saturday, March 23rd at Plainview PFWB Church Cemetery with Rev. Jeffrey Barber officiating. 

Marie, born November 8, 1933 in Sampson County, was the daughter of the late Jonah Steven Bradshaw and Cannie Bell Shipp Bradshaw.  She worked in Admissions with the County Mental Health Office where she retired.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Robert Britt, Sr., sons Casey Blair Britt and Monroe Stephen Britt, brothers Devone Bradshaw and Paul Bradshaw, and sister Linda Bradshaw Peterson.

Survivors include; daughter, Judy Dobbins; son, Jame R. Britt, Jr (Phyllis); grandsons; Charles Williamson and Justin Britt (Christy); great-grandchildren, Alexie Williamson and Jordan Britt; sister, Gail Clark (Glenn); brother, C. O. Bradshaw (Lynn Joyner); and sister-in-law, Jo Bradshaw.
