Dr. Valeria Elizabeth “Beth” Beasley, 52 of Clinton, passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at her home.

Beth was born in Sampson County to Melvin and the late Sandra Stafford.  Beth was preceded in death by her brother Charles “Lea” Stafford. 

A 1991 graduate of Clinton High School, Beth went on to earn a degree in Biology and Chemistry from Campbell University in 1995.  Beth later earned her Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from the Campbell University School of Pharmacy in 1999 and further completed a residence in Drug Information in 2000. During her residency, Beth trained with Glaxo Smith Kline, Duke and the Campbell University Drug Information Center.

Beth spent many years as a pharmacist serving her patients through Sampson Regional Medical Center for 4 years, Cape Fear Valley Medical Center for 15 years, 4C for 3 years,  and Vaya Health for 3 years.  Beth also taught part time at Campbell University School of Pharmacy for 10 years.

Beth adored being a mother to her sons Peyton and Landry.  Her greatest joy came from loving and spending time with her boys and her husband, Jamie.  She also loved visiting and being at the beach.  Beth attended the Vine Fellowship Church in Clinton.

Beth is survived by her loving husband, Jamie of 22 years and her sons Petyon Lea Beasley and Landry Lucas Beasley of the home.  Beth is also survived by her father Melvin Stafford of Clinton.

Funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM, Saturday, April 26th at  The Vine Fellowship with Rev. Matthew Barefoot officiating.  Interment will follow in the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from  4 PM – 7 PM, Friday, April 25th at The Vine Fellowship and at other times at the home.

The family would like to thank The Vine Fellowship Church and the community for their generosity, support and for the outpouring of love that they have shown the family during this time. 

2 Corinthians 12:9 “But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”  Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weakness, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”
