Tommie Bryant Jr., 86 formerly of Clinton, passed away January 23, 2025, at the V. A. Medical Center in Fayetteville.
Funeral Services for Mr. Bryant will be Monday, January 27, at 2 PM at Holly Grove Holiness Church with Rev. Randy Simmons, officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 1PM to 2 PM. Interment with military honors to follow in Grandview Memorial Gardens.
Tommie was born in Sampson County to the late Thomas Oneal and Occardelia Faircloth Bryant. Tommie spent 8 years in the military as an aircraft/helicopter mechanic and received many honors and medals for his service. After his time in service, he started long haul truck driving for different companies for 40+ years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Jane Lancaster, siblings: Raymond Bryant, Wilton Bryant, Ola Christine Gardner, Laura “Sis” Ammons and Wanda Maynor.
Left to cherish his memory is a daughter, Belinda Sue McNatt, son, Jermey Armithage, 2 Grandchildren, Thomas Gavin Pierce and Mitchell Pierce, his Great Granddaughter, Bella Rose Pierce, his brothers, Charles Bryant and Percell Bryant (Gertrude) plus his many nieces and nephews.
