Timothy Johnson Rogers, 57, of 1500 Kader Merritt Road, passed away Saturday, August 9, 2025.

Funeral service will be held at 2 PM, Thursday, August 14, 2025, at Trinity Methodist Church with Rev. Mickey Whitfield officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6 PM to 8 PM, Wednesday, August 13th at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home and at other times at the home.

Timothy, born October 20, 1967, in Sampson County, was the son of the late George Wayland Rogers, Sr. and Patricia Grey Johnson Rogers.  He was a retired truckdriver, member of Evergreen Baptist Church and attended Rooty Branch Freewill Baptist Church.  He was a US Navy Veteran and served in Desert Storm.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, George “Tinker” Rogers. 

He is survived by his wife of 31 years Sue Green Rogers, children Curtis King (Elizabeth) and Kiley Hayward (Jonathan Graham), grandchildren Bryan, Ana, Marilyn, Brenda and Camden, sister Tammy Gavin and Tabitha Rogers, and beloved dog Lil Joe.
