Thomas Earl Britt, Sr., 85 of 307 Underwood Street, Clinton, NC, passed away November 17, 2024 at Sampson Regional Medical Center.

A graveside service was held at Clinton City Cemetery, Wednesday, November 20th, 2 PM, with Rev. Chubby Reiber officiating.

Thomas was born in Wilson County on February 18, 1939 to the late Robert Arnold and Rachel Parker Britt.  He is survived by his wife of 63 years Marie Hill Britt.  He was preceded in death by his siblings, Aaron Britt, Bailey Britt and Valarie Britt.  Thomas worked in the civil service industry at Ft. Bragg as a lineman and was a member of the Masonic Lodge.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by 3 children, Thomas Earl Britt, Jr. of Clinton, Temple Byrd of Garland and R. O. Britt (Sarah) of Virginia, 3 Grandchildren, Virginia, Grayson and Camden, and a brother Alton Britt (Gray).
