Theresa Gail Byars, 54, of 3819 Reedsford Road, passed away Monday, September 24, 2018 with her family by her side at Ohio State University Hospital.

Gail, born in 1963 in Oauchita County, Arkansas, was the daughter of Harry Clemons and Jane Weeks Clemons.  She was preceded in death by a daughter, Brandi Gail Byars.  She was a member of the New Life Baptist Church and former secretary of the Clinton City Fire Department.

She was a loving Mother, exceptional Grandma and a beloved friend.  Her passions were serving God, baking award winning desserts and planning and organizing unforgettable parties.  She was a true southern belle who’s planning and organizational skills were envied by others.  Her passions were what made her the wonderful and warm person she was. She gave freely of herself with every job she completed.

A funeral will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at the New Life Baptist Church in Clinton with Rev. Dave Page officiating.  Burial will be at a later date in Arkansas.

Survivors include; parents, Harry Clemons and Jane Weeks Clemons, husband, Bradley Wayne Byars; son, Brandon Byars and wife Dana; daughter, Beth Marvel and husband Caleb; grandchildren, Andie Rae Byars, Mackenzie Byars, Gideon Marvel, Silas Marvel and Abigail Marvel; brother, Harry Clemons, Jr. and wife Tanya; several nieces, nephews, family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 7 PM – 9 PM, Monday, October 1, 2018 at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home and at other times at the home.
