Terry Lee Pearson, 69, of 2177 Boney Mill Road, passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice Life Care in Wilmington.

Funeral service will be held at 3 PM, Sunday, October 5th at Epworth Methodist Church with Rev. Chris O’Briant and Kyle Smith officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church and at other times at the home.

Terry, born February 29, 1956, in Sampson County, was the son of the late Claxton Pugh Pearson and Rhee Boyette Pearson.  He was a carpenter in the construction business.  Terry was an avid NC State fan and a LA Rams fan.  He enjoyed playing golf, playing softball and singing in the choir with the Charley Boys.  He loved beach music, Motown, dogs and loved the outdoors.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his mother-in-law Ann Smith and brother-in-law Robbie Cashwell.

Survivors include; wife of 37 years, Wanda Mitchell Pearson; children, Courtney Weber (Chris) and Cody Pearson (Madison); grandchildren, Rhiannon Weber and Lydia Weber; siblings, Ronald Pearson (Linda), Glenn Pearson (Pat), twin, Gerry Pearson (Myra) and Ellen Smith (Ronnie); best friends, Jimmy Cantrell, Terry Potter; father-in-law, Larry Smith; brother-in-law, Dwayne Cashwell; sisters-in-law, Donna Byrd and Angie Caprise (Bob); and several nieces,  nephews and cousins.
