Terry Wayne Packer, 63, of 130 McLemore Road, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at his home.

Funeral service will be held at 2 PM, Sunday, March 22nd at Elizabeth Baptist Church with Rev. John Hobbs officiating.  Interment will follow in the Clinton City Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church.

Terry, born November 3, 1962 in Sampson County, was the son of the late William Dennis Packer and Clara Jewel Faircloth Packer.  He worked in maintenance for Hog Slats and was a member of Elizabeth Baptist Church.  He was also in the NC National Guard.

Survivors include wife, Kelly Kinlaw-Packer; daughters, Stephanie Wheeler (Todd) of Roseboro and Ashley Horton (James); sister, Kelly Packer Seagle (James);  brother, William Christopher Packer (Karen); niece and nephew, Rachel and Adam Seagle; niece and nephew, Raelyn Fryar and Garrison Fryar (Sina); sister-in-law, Nancy Fryar (Gary); grandchildren, Hannah Register and Nolon Register and Adam, Emilee, Bentley and Elisea Horton; and aunt and uncle, Betty Jean and Jessie Tyndall.
