Terry Strickland Avery, 54, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at the home of her mother surrounded by her family.

Funeral service will be held at 6 PM, Thursday, October 13, 2022 at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home with Terry and Andy Shaffer officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and at other times at the home of her mother at 2821 Boykin Bridge Road, Clinton.

Terry was born February 2, 1968 in Sampson County.  She was the daughter of Wanda Jordan Strickland and the late Harold Dixon Strickland.  She was a pharmacy technician at Clinton Drug.  Terry was a member of the Journey Church in Dunn.

Survivors include; husband, Ricky Don Avery; mother, Wanda Strickland; children, Bridgette Matthews (Jacob), Jonathon Avery (Breanna), and Katie Avery; brother, Chris Strickland; and grandson, John Carver Matthews.
