Spencer Bryce Usher, 26, of 1834 W. Mt. Gilead Church Road, passed away  Monday, October 2, 2023.

Funeral service will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, October 7th, at Serenity Baptist Church with Rev. Byron Bass officiating.  Interment will follow in the Clinton City Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 7 PM – 9 PM, Friday, October 6th at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home and at other times at the home.

Spencer, born February 12, 1997 in Sampson County, was the son of Samuel Nelson Usher and Kimberly Smith Usher.  He was a Pharmaceutical Representative for Mutual Drug Company and attended Appalachian State University. Spencer was an avid golfer and was always willing to play a round with family and friends.  He adored his nieces and nephews and enjoyed spending time outside playing with them. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Armand Usher, III and Rexie Balkcum Usher.

Survivors include: parents, Samuel Nelson Usher and Kimberly Smith Usher; sisters, Alli Long and husband Bryan of Clinton and Megan Pierce and husband Colt of Clinton; nieces and nephews, Brycen Pierce, Emmalyn Pierce, Rexi Long, Trey Long and Ella Pierce; maternal grandparents, Stanley and Dottie Smith of Roseboro; uncle and aunt, Michael and Jan Usher of Clinton, and aunt, Kelly Miller of Roseboro; beloved pet,  Jack;  cousins, Hailey Bernier and husband Dylan,  Nicholas Usher and wife Brooke, Blake Miller, Andrew Usher and Blair Miller; and extended family and many special friends.
