Shelton Marshall Knowles, 79, of 313 Carolina Ave., passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Central Harnett Hospital in Lillington.
A graveside service will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, February 23rd at Grandview Memorial Garden. There will be a walk-through viewing
from 1 PM – 5 PM, Monday, February 22nd at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home.
Shelton who was born June 24, 1941 in Cumberland County, was the son of the late Noah Knowles and Lillie Ray McIntyre Knowles. He retired from Swift Denim. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Adams Allen Knowles.
Survivors include; son, Johnny Knowles (Marie); daughter, Kathy Johnson; grandchildren, Johnny Knowles, Jr. Jennifer Knowles, Jerrett Johnson and Kyle Pilkinton; great-grandchild, Harlee Pilkinton; step-children, John E. Allen (Elaine) and Debbie Oxendine (Larry); step-grandchildren, Jonathan Allen and Janna Laton; and two step-greatgrandchildren.
