Sandra Fann Raynor, 78, of Huntley School Road, passed away Friday, October 27, 2023 at the home of her daughter.

Funeral service will be held at 2 PM, Friday, November 3rd at Freedom Baptist Church in Salemburg with Rev.  John Cuthill and Rev. Bryan Strickland officiating.  Interment will follow in the Piney Green Baptist Church Cemetery in Salemburg.  The family will receive friends from 5 PM – 7 PM, Thursday, November 2nd at Freedom Baptist Church and at other times at the home of her daughter, Carla, at 387 Keith Hills Road, Lillington, NC. 

Sandra, born January 9, 1945 in Sampson County, was the daughter of the late Howard Gibson Fann and Livie Bell McLamb Fann.  She was a graduate of the ECU School of Nursing and served as a nurse and instructor for more than 40 years.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Christopher, and sisters, Norma Newman, Dorothy Brown and Polly Castillo.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, James Robert Raynor, Jr., daughter, Carla R. Danks (Tony), grandson, Colton Danks, sisters, Linda Williams of Salemburg and Shirley Tew of Faison.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Freedom Baptist Church, 2099 Tyndall Bridge Road, Salemburg, NC  28385.
