Sally Jo Clifton Byrd, 81, passed away at her home, Tuesday, December 26, 2023.
There will be a private family graveside service,
Sally, born July 13, 1942 in Harnett County at Betsy Johnson Hospital was the daughter of the late Lula Dudley Peterson and Avery Elmo Peterson. She graduated from Clinton High School and attended East Carolina University.
She is survived by: son, Jerry Byrd; sisters, Barbara McMillan and husband James L. McMillan and Rhonda Peterson; and nephews, Jimmy McMillian and wife Ashley and Judson McMillan and wife Katie; and four great nieces.
