Ruby Elizabeth Hall Austin, 84, of 1857 Pine Ridge Road, passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family.
Funeral will be held at 3 PM, August 22nd at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home with Rev. Bill West officiating. Interment will follow in the Clinton City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 PM – 3 PM, Sunday, just before the funeral and at other times at the home.
Ruby, born in Sampson County on January 12, 1937, was the daughter of the late Billie Hall and Annie Hall. She was a beloved Mother, Wife, Grandmother and Great-grandmother. She was a homemaker, a farmer’s wife and a beautician. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Max Ray Austin, siblings, William Wayne Hall, Lucille Dunn, Jean Keel and Earl Hall.
Survivors include; daughters, Deborah Schull Pettigrew, Pamela Austin-Millinor, Teresa Austin Young and Christina Austin; god-daughter, Tammy Lucas Holland; grandchildren, Crystal Bryant, Garrett Schull, Nikki Owens, Holly Bryant, and Tamara Lynn; one great-grandson, Parker Giddens; brother, Arthur Hall; and beloved dogs, Darcy and Regin.
