Roy Mack Strickland, 71, of 4054 Macedonia Church Rd. passed away Friday, February 18, 2022 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Funeral service will be held at 2 PM, Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home with Rev. Hughes officiating.  Interment will follow in Rowan Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1 PM – 2 PM, just before the service at the funeral home.

Roy, born June 9, 1950 in Sampson County, was the son of the late Eutrice Susan Hunter and Albert Strickland.  He attended Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Fayetteville.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Martin Strickland.

Survivors include; sister, Louise Thornton (Alton) of Harrells; brother, Harold Strickland of Clinton; sister-in-law, Elaine Strickland of Fayetteville; and several nieces and nephews.
