Roy Davis Pollock, 77, of 104 South Elm Street, passed away Monday, February 17, 2025 at his home.

Funeral service will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, February 22nd at Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 863 Boney Mill Road, Clinton, NC, with Rev. Ray Carter and Rev. Phil Sheridan officiating.  Interment will follow in Grandview Memorial Garden.  The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church.

Roy, born July 15, 1947 in Sampson County, was the son of the late Charles William Pollock and Mary Susan Kennedy Pollock.  He was a graduate of UNC Chapel Hill and a retired postman.  Roy was a Veteran of the US Army. 

Survivors include: son, Charlie Pollock of Timberlake; brothers, Charles B. Pollock (Elizabeth), William E. Pollock, and Harold Pollock (Sadie); sisters, Jean Pollock, Linda Pollock and Lisa Mahaley; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; sister-in-law, Carol Jones; mother-in-law, Ella Sandling; Charlie’s Mom, Angela Strickland; and friends of the Lebanon Fire Department, Bahama Fire Department and Creedmoor Fire Department.
