Roszella Strickland, 91, passed away Friday, October 13, 2023 at Southwood Nursing and Rehab.

Funeral service will be at 2 PM, Tuesday, October 17th at New Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Chris Webb officiating.  Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Gardens.   The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church.

Roszella, born May 2, 1932 in Sampson County, was the daughter of the late Raeford Almond Strickland and Vennie Pearl Royal Strickland.  She retired from Doxey Plywood Corporation.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Roscoe Lee Strickland.

Survivors include: brother, Raeford Allen Strickland (Lois) of Clinton; sisters, Lucy Strickland Burnette of Clinton, Kay Frances Strickland Brewington of Fayetteville and Pearley Elizabeth Strickland Kauchak (John) of New Albany, Indiana; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
