Roger Dale Blagg Jr., known to those who knew and loved him as "Dale," passed away on May 30, 2026, at the age of 39.
 

Dale will be remembered for his incredible sense of humor, authenticity, and the lasting impact he made on the lives of those around him. He proudly served in the United States Army, including a deployment to Afghanistan from 2012 to 2013, and retired honorably in 2017 after years of dedicated service to his country.

He is survived by his loving wife, Nicole Blagg; his three children, Kenneth Blagg, Cassidy Blagg, and Alexus Blagg; and his two brothers, Patrick Blagg and Michael Edwards.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Candice N. Blagg and Tabitha R. Blagg; his mother, Deborah D. Edwards; and his father, Roger Dale Blagg.

Graveside service will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 20, 2026 in the Markham Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 4826 Trenton Rd., Chapel Hill, NC 27517.
