Robert Wright Blanton, 77, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2024 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Funeral service will be held at 3 PM, Sunday, September 29th at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home with Rev. Cecil Price officiating.  Interment will follow in the Faison City Cemetery.

Robert, born October 30, 1946 in Knoxville, Tennessee, was the son of Albert Blanton and Glenda Edgerton Blanton.  He was a retired school teacher with Cumberland County Schools.  Robert was a member of Bethesda Assembly of God and a member of Gideons International.  He was a veteran of the US Marines.
