Richard Spicer Aman, 80, of 1635 W Darden Road, passed away Thursday, October 7, 2021 at his home.

Memorial service will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, October 16, 2021, at the Piney Grove Volunteer Fire Dept. (471 Goshen Church Road, Faison, NC) with interment to follow in the Aman Family Cemetery.

Richard, born October 22, 1940 in Sampson County, was the son of the late Richard Ivey Aman and Mary Grace Carr Aman.  He was the fire chief of Piney Grove Station 13 for over 20 years.  He attended Carr Memorial Christian Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Holloman Aman and daughters, Michelle Anette Aman and Angelia Kaye Aman Pasternak.

Survivors include; children, Kippy Aman Gainey, Richard Spicer Aman, Jr., Mark Anthony Aman, Kellie Aman Norris; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Rose Aman Swain.
