Richard Jeffries Geist, 77, of 1879 Hollandtown Road, passed away Saturday, September 13, 2025, at his home.

Richard, born July 9, 1948, in Pennsylvania, was the son of the late Harry Edward Geist and Elizabeth Jeffries Geist.  He retired from the City of Philadelphia as a mechanic and was a crew chief in the US Army serving during the Vietnam War.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Molly Joan McCann Geist and three siblings.  He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saint’s.

Survivors include his daughter Rebecca Carter and husband Robbie, four grandchildren, Junius Faircloth, Kendallynn Canady and husband Ayden, Tyler Carter and wife Kaitlyn, and Megan Morrison and husband DaCorris,  Six great-grandchildren Ashton, Ava Grace, Scottlynn, Kolson, Vannesa, Denver, and five siblings.

Services by the family will be held at a later date.
