Reverend J. T. Honeycutt, 87, of 1239 Honeycutt Road, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2021 at the Old Mill Church of God.
Funeral will be held at 3 PM, Wednesday, June 16th at the Old Mill Church of God in Roseboro with Rev. Donnie Glenn Honeycutt and Rev. Jerry Waters officiating. Interment will follow in the Old Mill Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 PM – 8 PM, Tuesday, June 15th at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home and at other times at the home.
Reverend Honeycutt who was born May 13, 1934 in Sampson County, was the son of the late William Oscar Honeycutt and Angie Lee Holland Honeycutt. He was a retired minister. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by wife Lillie Mae Honeycutt, son Rev. Jimmy Glenn Honeycutt, three brothers and one sister.
Survivors include; wife, Gail Smith Honeycutt of the home; son, Eddie Ray Honeycutt and wife Connie of Clinton; daughter-in-law, Dorothy Honeycutt of Clinton; step-son, Bobby Smith and wife Vicki of Tennessee; sisters, Evelyn Brinkley of Clinton, Mavis Knowles and husband Franklin of Clinton, and Virginia Matthews of Roseboro; sister-in-law, Patsy Honeycutt of Roseboro; grandchildren, Michelle Westbrook, Danny Honeycutt, Donnie Honeycutt, and Jessica Hodge; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
