Ray Williams, 84, of 1790 Bass Lake Road, passed away, Thursday, March 31, 2022 at his home.
The funeral will be held at 3 PM Sunday, April 3rd at Elizabeth Baptist Church with Rev. John Hobbs officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Ray was born June 29, 1937 in Sampson County. He was the son of the late Graham R. Williams and Edith Underwood Williams. He was a farmer and a member of Elizabeth Baptist Church and served as a deacon.
Survivors include: wife of 66 years, Jeanette Holden Williams; son, Kim Williams and wife Lou Anna; daughter, Lora Ann Williams and husband Al; grandchildren, Clark Williams and wife Hazelyn, Brandon Williams and fiancé Charlotte Harrell, and Lauren Williams; great-grandchildren, Griffin Williams, Lilly Williams, Palmer Williams and Madelyn Williams.
The family will receive friends prior to the funeral at the church Sunday from 1:30 PM - 2:45 PM.
