Ray Bass, 56, of 72 LP Brewer Lane, passed away Friday, December 15, 2023.

Graveside service will be held at 1 PM, Friday, December 22nd at Clinton City Cemetery with Reverend Chris Bishop officiating. 

Ray, born January 31, 1967 in Sampson County was the son of the late Willie Ruben Bass and Margaret Katherine Wallace.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Tonya Pope and Rhea Jeanice “Jenny” Hall.  He was a mechanic.

Survivors include his children, Amanda Candella, Benjamin Blagg and Kristy Edwards; grandchildren, Austin Candella, Cameron Blagg, Cheyene Blagg, Courtney Blagg, Benjamin Blagg, Brianna Blagg, Braxton Blagg and Elizabeth Blagg; siblings, Kimberly Pietrolaj (Joe) and Edward “Eddie” Pietrolaj, Jr. (Michelle).
