Phyllis Puckett Crumpler, 64, of 109 Casper Road, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2024 at her home.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 2 PM – 4 PM, Sunday, July 28th at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home.

Phyllis was born December 16, 1959 in Sampson County and was the daughter of the late Edward Frank Puckett and Ruth Cay Austin Puckett.  She worked as an associate for Walmart for twenty-five years until she retired in May.  Phyllis enjoyed spending time with family and friends and going to the beach with her granddaughter.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Deanie Martin Crumpler.

Survivors include: son, Brian Puckett and wife Teresa of the home; daughter, Stephanie Jackson and husband Joey of Dunn; brother, Eddie Puckett and wife Rita of Kenansville; and grandchildren, Brianna Puckett of Effingham, SC and Wyatt Brown of Pinetown, NC.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN  38105.
