Mr. Philip Joseph Kaleel, 76, passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at his home.

Philip was born October 4, 1948, in Sampson County.  His parents were the late Joseph Kaleel and Gabrielle Fountaine Kaleel.  He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.  He worked in retail sales most of his life and enjoyed outdoor activities such as fishing and hiking.  

Surviving Philip, is his brother Patrick Kaleel and his wife Dianne Kaleel of Clayton, NC.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital.

A Funeral Mass will be Monday, September 15, 2025, at 2 PM, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Brian Vaccaro officiating.  Inurnment to follow at Grandview Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 1 PM - 1:45 PM, just before the service at the church.
