Paul Forrest “Turkey” Hodges, 86, of 1818 Oakgrove Church Road, was born April 26, 1935 to the late Fuller A. and Helen Matthis Hodges and departed this life on April 27, 2021.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sons, Michael Fuller Hodges and John Edward Hodges.

Paul was a pharmacist and business owner and he attended Berea Baptist Church.  He was a veteran of the US Army.

Funeral service will be held at 3 PM, Sunday, May 2, 2021 at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home in Clinton, NC with Rev. E. C. Mattocks officiating.  Interment will follow in the Matthis Family Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 2:30 PM – 3 PM, just before the service at the funeral home.

Paul is survived by his wife, Iona Oxendine Hodges; daughters, Jacqueline Hodges Miller, Monica Hodges Peters (Alan), and Karin Hodges Delaisse of High Point; son, Stephen Brett Hodges of Lumberton, grandchildren, Lauren Miller of Raleigh, Sam Delaisse and Claire Peters of High Point.
