Patricia Anne Holder New, 83, of 1406 Raleigh Road, passed away Friday, January 23, 2026, at her home.

A visitation will be held from 4 PM - 5 PM, Friday, January 30th at Bethany PFWB Church with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 5 PM with Rev. Charles Ray Jernigan officiating.  There will be a private burial.

Patricia, born September 28, 1942, in Orange County, was the daughter of the late William Thomas Holder, Sr. and Helen Boone Holder.  She was a member of Bethany Pentecostal Freewill Baptist Church and was a seamstress.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death her husband Herbert Eugene New, Sr., son Thomas W. New, daughter Cathy A. New and granddaughter Brittany M. New.

Survivors include: daughters, Angelia S. New of the home and Deborah Harrell (Mark) of Clinton; sons, Herbert Eugene New, Jr. (Diane) of Mt. Olive, David W. New (Cindy) of Clinton, Jeffrey L. New, Robert L. New (Billie Von) of Autryville; daughter-in-law, Susan W. New of Goldsboro; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; brother, William T. Holder, Jr. (Brenda) of Creedmoor; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
