Willie Patrick “Pat” Wood, 67, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at Rex Heart and Vascular Hospital.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM, Monday, March 16th with Rev. Lynn Blackburn officiating at the Clinton Family Worship Center.  Interment will follow in the Clinton City Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour before the service at Clinton Family Worship Center.

Pat, born May 26, 1958, in Pitt County, was the son of Hyman “Ham” Patrick Wood and Imogene Bowen Wood.  He worked at Walmart and Dominos and was a member of Clinton Family Worship Center.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Paula Wood.

Survivors include: wife of 40 years, Susan Jackson Wood; brother, Andy Wood (Jennifer); sister, Valerie Wood (Lucille); nephew, Hugh Jackson(Jayna Rae); sister-in-law, Frances Jackson; nieces, Paula Rosison (Vernon), Brianna Freckleton (Matt) and Hunter Wood; great nieces, Peyton Rolison, Sydnee Rolison, Miller Freckleton and Lillian Jackson; and great nephews, Graham Freckleton and Turner Freckleton.

Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to ones favorite charity or church.
