Norbert Krantz, Jr. Obituary

Mr. Norbert John Krantz, Jr., 75, passed away Thursday, March 31st, at home in the company of his wife and eldest daughter.

A visitation will be held at 10 am, Wednesday, April 6th, at Allegiant Church & Creative Ministries with a funeral service at 11am and lunch to follow. Burial will be held Thursday, April 7th at 12pm at Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.

Norbert was born in Eugene, Oregon on November 22nd, 1946, and was the eldest son of the late Norbert John Krantz, Sr. and Grace Elizabeth (Krantz) Moliter and the father of the late Nicholas Norbert Krantz. Norbert was educated in seminary, served in the Army, worked in forestry and computer programming; and was always a faithful servant of God. Norbert was a member of Allegiant Church and Creative Ministries where he loved singing, dancing, celebrating his community, and worshiping.

He is survived by: his wife, Sandra Krantz; his son, Frog and wife Eila Stepanova; his four daughters: Johnna Krantz, Danika Luke and husband Jeff, Mikaela Krantz, and Kendra Krantz; his three step-children: Andrea Johnson, Alex Johnson and wife Felicia, and Joe Johnson and wife Jessica; his grandchildren: Nicole Krantz, Jake Krantz, Uljana Frolova, Kristina Frolova, Clifford Luke, and Maryella Luke; his great-grandchild: Liam; his step grandchildren: Mackenzie Johnson, Braeden Bynorth, Lily Johnson, Molly Johnson; his twelve brothers and sisters: Ann Carstens, Mark Krantz, Kathleen Krantz, James Krantz, Helen Designer, Robert Krantz, Mary Graham, Suzanne Westfall, Paul Krantz, Michael Krantz, Karen Krantz, Bill Krantz, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests wind chimes be sent to 413 Winnifred St., Faison, NC 28341 or please consider planting a tree in memory of Norbert.
