Nettie Evangeline Rogers, “Jitter Bug”, 75, passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at Carolina Rivers Nursing and Rehab Center in Jacksonville, NC.

Graveside service will be held at 2 PM, Sunday, August 22nd at Trinity United Methodist Church Cemetery at 1690 Trinity Church Road, Magnolia, with Rev. Chip Crumpler officiating.  The family will receive friends immediately after the service.

Nettie was born August 18, 1945 in Sampson County to the late Henry Wallace Rogers and Henrietta Williamson Rogers.  She enjoyed cooking, baking, frying chicken and making biscuits.  She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings Shirley Balkcum , Frankie Rogers, Catherine Lee, Calvin “Bo” Rogers, Craven “Luke” Rogers, George Wayland “Short” Rogers, Elwin “Joe” Rogers, Grace Rexie Rogers, and Clara Sholar.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews that she loved as her own.
