Micki Cottle Obituary
Shirley Cottle of Clinton, known as “Micki” by most, passed away Saturday, August 13, 2022.
A graveside service was held Tuesday, August 16th at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Rose Hill, NC.
Micki, born in Virginia, was the daughter of the late Robert Neal Spencer and Annie Laura Southerland Spencer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dan Cottle. Micki was an avid writer and a member of Rowan Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son, Dan Cottle Jr. and wife Cheryl of Rocky Mount and a daughter, Terri McPhail and husband Mac of Clinton. Micki is also survived by seven grandchildren, Jacob Cottle, Chrystal Bell, Amanda Kapl, Nicholas Cottle, Laura Ashley Edwards, Emily Troublefield, Jeremy Bradsher, and many great-grandchildren.
