Mary Agnes (Raynor) Jordan

Mrs. Mary Agnes Raynor Jordan, 89, of 151 David Jordan Lane, passed away Saturday, September 23, 2023 at her home.

A Funeral Service will be held 3:00 P.M.  Tuesday, September 26th at Carr Memorial Christian Church with the Rev. Stanley King and Rev. Penny Ziemer officiating. Interment will follow the service in the Jordan Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. Monday, September 25th at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home and other times at the home, 151 David Jordan Lane, Clinton, NC.

Agnes, born in Sampson Co., was the daughter of the late Jesse James Raynor and Mary Watkins Raynor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband David Allen Jordan, Jr. and brothers, Harold Raynor and Jack Raynor. Agnes was a loving and hard working, Christian lady. She worked at Halls School cafeteria for a while, was a seamstress, homemaker, and helped out on the farm. She was a member of Carr Memorial Christian Church.

Agnes is survived by her children: Craig Jordan and wife Susan, Patricia Jackson and husband Thomas, Angela Edwards and husband Danny, grandchildren: Amy Garner and husband Justin, Allison Smith and husband Dane, Amanda Kimbro and husband Bryan, Bradley Jackson, Mallory Edwards, and Landon Edwards, great-grandchildren: Addy Grace Smith, Ava Smith, Chase Wayne Jackson, Rylee Jackson, Emma Kimbro, Harper Kimbro, Savannah Kimbro, brother, Bob Raynor and several nieces and nephews and special caretakers Mary Avery, Jeanette and Debbie Smith.

The family would like to thank Liberty Hospice for their professional and compassionate care given to Agnes.
