Marvin Edgar Williamson, 95, of 2005 Hobbton Hwy., passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at his home.

Funeral service will be held at 7 PM, Thursday, September 22nd  Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home with Rev. Chubby Rieber and Rev. William Tew officiating.  The family will receive friends from 6 PM – 7 PM, just prior to the service.  Interment will be held at 3 PM, Friday, September 23rd at Grandview Memorial Gardens.

Marvin was born January 1, 1927 in Baltimore MD to the late Charlie Williamson and Alice McKoy Williamson.   He worked with Sampson County Schools as a school bus mechanic for over 40 years and was a veteran of the US Army.  He was a member of Plainview PFWB Church.  In addition to his parents Marvin was preceded in death by his wife Gladys Carter Williamson and siblings, Harvey Williamson, Preston Williamson, James Williamson, Pauline Ray, Ruby Ridgley, Eula Mae Ridgley, Margaret Parsons and Mary Alice Williamson.

Survivors include; sons, Dale Williamson and Jeff L. Williamson and wife Kathy; grandson, Nicholas John Williamson; and granddaughter, Bailey Williamson.
