Margaret “Ann” Parker Warren, 91, passed away Thursday, November 23, 2023 at Terra Bella Assisted Living in Southport, NC.

Funeral service will be held at 1 PM, Saturday, December 2nd at Crumpler-Honeycut Funeral Home with Rev. Bill West officiating.  Interment will follow in the Clinton City Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home.

Ann, born June 28, 1932 in Sampson County, was the daughter of the late James Andrew Parker and Sophronia Honeycutt Parker.  She was a member of Southport Baptist Church serving as a deacon and serving on mission trips to Guatemala while in her 80’s.  She was a basket weaver and taught classes at the community college instructing the craft as well as a master gardener. She worked in several positions serving as financial officer. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Henry Hulon Warren, son, Marcus Huron Warren and her granddaughter, Margaret “Meggie” Ann Warren.

Survivors include her daughter Daphne Warren DeLaney and husband Willliam Wallace DeLaney, II, and their children William Wallace DeLaney, III, Ashley Ann DeLaney and husband Jason Stein, and James Andrew DeLaney; also, granddaughter, Jennie Marlene Warren Wells and husband Josh Wells and their two boys, Gunner and Griffin; and brother, Tom Parker and his wife Joyce Parker as well as numerous nephews and nieces and their families.

She was also blessed with an extended family she loved very much, all the Parkers, Honeycutts, Warrens and Tews.
