Ms. Ruby Margaret Walton Mello, 59, of 201 W. Pollock St. Mt. Olive, passed away Saturday, April 22, 2023 at her home.

A Graveside service will be held at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, April 25th in the Faison Cemetery with Rev. Andy Beard officiating.

Margaret, born in Arkansas was the daugher of the late Owen Walton and Dolly Christmas Denning Walton. Margaret was preceded in death by two husbands and her mother and father. She worked in the food industry and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

She is survived by her sons: Joseph Matthew Mello and wife Katherine, William Owen Mello and wife Laura and Jonathan Lloyd Mello and wife Sheyenne and four grandchildren: Owen Bryant Mello, Autumn Rose Mello, Misty Grey Marlow, Luther Maddox Marlow, sister-in-law and best friend, Beth Cromer and brother-in-law William H. Mello.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Duplin Co. Animal Shelter 177 Middleton Cemetery Lane, Kenansville, NC.
