Clinton,
Margaret Tew Malpass, 101, of 239 Deer Grass Lane, formerly of Taylor’s Bridge Hwy., passed away Thursday, July 1, 2021 at her home.
A funeral service will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, July 3rd at Rowan Baptist Church with Rev. Clay Carter officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the fellowship hall.
Margaret, born January 3, 1920 in Sampson County, was the daughter of the late Rufus Tew and Eva Fortner Tew. She was homemaker and worked in the antique business for over 30 years. She was a member of Rowan Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Malpass and son, Charles Lucian Malpass.
Survivors include; daughter, Ann M. Sutton; granddaughters, Melody Thompson (Joe) , Joy Pitts (Josh) , Amy Fowler (Stewart) and Amanda Bass (Bryan); 11 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
