A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, September 12th, at Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. John Hobbs and Rev. Dudley Neal officiating. Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Monday at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home and other times at the home of her daughter 80 Rosemary Ln. Margaret, born in Sampson Co., was the daughter of the late Franklin Cannady and Ozelle Porter Cannady. She was the widow of Luther “Babe” Earl Crumpler. She was a personal caregiver at Skill Creations and a member of Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her brother Leondis Cannady and sisters Hildred Cannady Brown and Edna Cannady Sinclair.
She is survived by: a daughter Margie Bradshaw and husband Jimmy, grandchildren: Marcie Bradshaw Glisson and husband Chris, Brian Bradshaw and fiance’ Ivey Parker, great-grandchildren: Presley Tyndall and Adalynn Parker, sisters: Helen Barnes, Nell Honrine, brother: Roy Cannady and sister-in-laws, Jewel Cannady and Clara Allen and numerous nieces & nephews.
She was a very loving, kind, generous mother, mother-in-law, granny, caregiving wife, aunt and sister. Her Christian walk of faith consisted of selflessness. She did not need a reason to serve and help others. She did it expecting nothing in return.
We would like to express our thanks to her special friend, Myrtis Westbrook, Sampson Regional, and Wake Med for their caring hands.
