Mrs. Macy Lee Austin Wooten, 92, of 1212 Basstown Road, passed away, Sunday, May 5, 2024 at Mary Gran Nursing Center.

Graveside service will be held at 10 AM, Wednesday, May 8th at Grandview Memorial Garden with Rev. Jeremy Hairr officiating.  The family will receive friends at the home of her son, Mike, at 203 Fox Lake Drive, Clinton.

Macy, born November 20, 1931 in Sampson County was the daughter of the late William Burkley Austin and Annie Laura Barber Austin.  She was a homemaker and worked at Roses for many years.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Talmadge Lebron Wooten.

Survivors include; children, Talmadge Leroy Wooten (Phuong) of Clinton, Patricia Medlin Ross (Jeffery) of Holden Beach, and Michael Anthony Wooten (Ramona) of Clinton; grandchildren, Michelle Perry, Zachary Honeycutt, Brittaney Wrench, Amy Wooten Edens, Austin Wooten and Garrett Wooten; several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
