Lucy Barrington Skipper, 84, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2025, at Mary Gran Nursing Center.

Funeral service will be held at 1 PM, Saturday, May 24th  at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home.   The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM – 12:45 PM just before the service at the funeral home.  Interment will follow the service at the Clinton City Cemetery.

Lucy, born August 28, 1940, in Scotland County, was the daughter of the late Percy Barrington and Nealie Smith Barrington.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Benjamin Thomas Skipper, daughter Fosteen Bridges,  brother Buddy Barrington and sister Mary Alice Koerperich.

Survivors include her children; Donald Skipper, David Skipper and Teresa Evans; grandchildren, Patience Blackmon, Jeremy Bridges, Joshua Bridges, Ashley Westbrook, Samantha Pruyn, John Richmond, and Jason Evans; twelve great-grandchild; and one great-great grandchild.
